I’ve had an exceptionally wonderful week on the writing front.
For starters Tempted (formerly titled Fallen) finaled in the ESPAN First Page Contest! (Here’s the link.) It was a really a neat contest–kind of like Survivor for manuscripts, lol. Each week contestees added a paragraph to their entry and the ESPAN members voted on the top x-numbers of entries to move on to the next week, narrowing the field down to 10 entries. Now, those entries are being sent to 3 of the biggest names in the epub industry: Angela James (Carina Press), Raelene Gorlinsky (Ellora’s Cave/Cerridwen), Laurie M. Rauch (Samhain).
Awesome right? Even more awesome…
Tempted received an offer of publication from Ellora’s Cave! I have the contract in hand (well on the computer) so I feel confident to now scream it to the rooftops! 🙂
I don’t have any other details right now, but I’ll keep you advised!

I did! I was sitting in the drive-thru at Starbucks with my hubby when the email came through to my BlackBerry. I didn’t believe it! I handed hubbs the phone and had him read it too…just to be sure!
